I had so much fun with my butterfly book that I'm doing another. A monarch mozaic book this time. Here's the work in progress:
And yet another mini-book - no eggshells with this one. The cover is a cut-up record album (remember those?) with some sheet music pages and some blank pages.

This is one of my mini-books - hand bound, egg-shell mozaic. I really like the way it came out. There's things I'll change for the next one, but overall, I like it!
I was walking along one day and this butterfly went zooming past my head at about 80 miles per hour. It was really in a hurry to get somewhere. So that got me thinking and this is the result - a butterfly race:

It's time for the Great NYS Fair again! I've entered a bunch of artwork this year - drawings, paintings, mini books, you name it. I figured I'd have a better chance of getting in if I overwhelm them by sheer volume - something has to be accepted, right? Not necessarily, but I'm optimistic. Now I have to lug it all to the fair, drop it off and keep my fingers crossed.
Do you remember Bubbles? Come now, you must remember, Bubbles the Guinea Pig? I've posted about her before. She was a sweet little thing. Here's some sketches that remind me of her:
Animals on wheels? What?! That's right. There's nothing quite so much fun as animals on wheels. Here's a few:
